Project

In 2014 MSC completed the replacement of the 71st Street industrial park entrance culvert bridge. This project included excavation and removal of damaged existing culvert, which caused water back up into the industrial park. MSC assisted in engineering and installing the concrete storm pipe and retaining walls. This project was had a unique set of challenges because of limited access to the industrial park. MSC was able to keep the roadway open during construction and allow for flow of truck traffic for operations in the industrial park to continue during construction.

The Scope of Work included:

  • Excavation and hauling of existing.
  • Installation of 48” Reinforced Concrete Pipe.
  • Installation of reinforced concrete retaining stem walls.
  • Installation of reinforced concrete roadway.
  • Installation of guardrails and fencing.
  • Backfill and final grading of site.
